Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday up by 0.69% at 11,743.91 points.
The EGX50 EWI rose by 0.82% to 2,019.41 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 0.56% to close at 2,003.04 points.
EGX100 EWI also went up by 0.76% to 3,031.9 points.
EGX’s trading value stood at EGP 2.51 billion through the exchange of 440.88 million shares. The market cap value totalled EGP 750.79 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 1.45 billion and EGP 96.13 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 1.54 billion.
