Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday higher by 0.72% at 11,982.61 points.
The EGX50 EWI went up by 1.31% to 2,153.23 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 1.4% to reach 2,301.33 points.
EGX100 EWI also rose by 1.39% to 3,362.09 points.
EGX’s trading value stood at EGP 1.09 billion through the exchange of 422.78 million shares, compared to EGP 908.31 million and 379.58 million shares in the previous session.
The market cap value increased to EGP 771.76 billion from EGP 766.82 billion on Monday.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 27.04 million and EGP 16.26 million, respectively, while Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 43.31 million.
