Egypt’s stock market closes Tuesday higher

Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s trading session in the green zone, with the EGX30 main index up 1.49% to 10,329.66 points.

The EGX50 EWI also increased by 1.57% to 1,960.92 points.

Additionally, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session higher by 1.93% to 2,276.55 points and by 1.77% to 3,260.74 points, respectively.

EGX’s trading value amounted to EGP 1.89 billion through the exchange of 1.05 billion shares, while the market cap value stood at EGP 703.71 billion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 285.59 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 233.42 million and EGP 52.17 million, respectively.
