Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday’s trading session on a varied note, with the EGX30 main index up 0.18% to 11,262.40 points.
On the other hand, the EGX50 EWI declined by 0.24% to 2,043.88 points.
Furthermore, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices ended the session lower by 0.56% to 2,213.25 points and by 0.51% to 3,226.13 points, respectively.
EGX’s trading value stood at EGP 999.61 million after 459.95 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value reached EGP 763.08 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 34.40 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 27.96 million and EGP 6.43 million, respectively.
