Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday higher by 0.27% at 10,707.93 points.
The EGX50 EWI meanwhile fell by 1.83% to 1,781.98 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI also lost 5.08% to close at 1,685.92 points.
EGX100 EWI went down by 3.70% to 2,603.03 points.
EGX’s trading value stood at EGP 645.28 million through the exchange of 234.48 million shares. The market cap value totalled EGP 684.26 billion.
As for trading on securities, Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 42.32 million, while Egyptian and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 19.81 million and EGP 22.51 million, respectively.
