Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading session higher, with the EGX30 main index up 0.60% to 9,996.74 points.
The EGX50 EWI also rose by 0.81% to 1,901.14 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed higher by 1.07% to 2,188.46 points and by 1% to 3,138.72 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 941.86 million after 468.42 million shares were exchanged. The market cap value totalled EGP 684.19 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 76.72 million and EGP 3.65 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 80.38 million.
