Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday’s trading session on a mixed note, with the EGX30 main index down 0.70% to 14,738.60 points.
On the other hand, the EGX50 EWI went up by 0.48% to 2,606.43 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session lower by 0.82% at 2,813.69 points and by 0.18% at 4,160.04 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover reached EGP 2.50 billion after 1.12 billion shares were exchanged during the session, whereas the market cap value totalled EGP 958.69 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 128.49 million and EGP 57.86 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 186.36 million.
