Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading session with a negative performance after the EGX30 main index declined by 1.53% to 19,278.72 points.
Both the EGX70 EWI and the EGX100 EWI ended the session down by 0.91% to 3,797.15 points and by 1.05% to 5,584.09 points, respectively.
A total of 616.23 million shares were exchanged at an amount of EGP 3.18 billion, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.29 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 134.73 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 111.95 million and EGP 22.77 million, respectively.
