Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday lower by 0.05% at 11,849.79 points.
The EGX100 EWI also fell by 0.78% to 3,219.05 points, and the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI went down by 0.9% to 2,178 points.
Similarly, the EGX50 EWI retreated by 0.8% to 2,067.04 points.
The trading value reached EGP 1.07 billion through the exchange of 528.19 million shares. Meanwhile, the market cap value stood at EGP 749.96 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 11.34 million and EGP 8.01 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 19.36 million.
