Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government has denied news that has been circulating on some websites and social media platforms regarding the government’s intention to privatise the basic education system in Egypt.
The Egyptian Cabinet's media center contacted the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, which dismissed the reports, according to a statement on Monday.
The education ministry emphasised that no decisions have been made in this respect and stressed that the state will continue to own and administer the public schools nationwide without any intention to privatise them.
