Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s funding gap is estimated to stand at $34 billion over the coming three fiscal years starting from 2016/17 until 2018/19, said Minister of Finance Amr El-Garhy on Sunday.
“The funding gap is seen rising from $30 billion to $34 billion after re-assessments. The ministry eyes all alternatives to bridge the gap”, the minister told Mubasher.
According to Egypt's economic reform programme, the funding gap is to reach $30 billion over three years ending on 30 June 2018.
