Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) unveiled that net international reserves went up 0.07% to $40.93 billion at the end of December 2021, compared to $40.90 billion in November.
A year ago, the country’s foreign reserves reached $40.1 billion by end-January.
Egypt’s international reserves have been increasing since June 2020, following a decline to approximately $36 billion from over $45.5 billion due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
