Egypt’s core CPI rises 0.79% in Sep

Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt’s core CPI computed by the Central Bank of Egypt inched up by 0.79% m-o-m in September compared with 0.23% in August, said the Central Bank of Egypt on Thursday.

The annual rate remained unchanged at 5.55% on September.

Meanwhile, the country’s consumer price index (CPI) advanced by 2.8% in September from a month earlier, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
