Egypt’s cabinet approves contract to build Sixth of October dry port

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian cabinet approved a draft law to award the Sixth of October Dry Port Company, established by a consortium of Elsewedy Electric, DB Schenker Egypt, and Elsewedy Logistics Properties (SLP), the contract to design, build, utilise, and maintain Sixth of October dry port.

The contract has a 30-year term starting from the date of the actual operation of the port, according to a cabinet statement on Tuesday.
