Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian cabinet approved a draft presidential decree regarding the addendum to the bilateral assistance agreement for inclusive economic governance signed on 29 September 2020 with the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
The addendum provides an additional funding of $22.84 million to the grant, bringing the total commitments of the US under the deal to $50.51 million, according to a cabinet statement on Tuesday.
The funding is aimed at supporting economic governance and women empowerment in Egypt.
