Egypt’s bourse seen resuming upturn – Analysts

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) is expected to rebound on Sunday, technical analysts told Mubasher.

The benchmark index EGX30 declined slightly to the level of 5,944 points and it is expected to resume its gains towards the level of 6,000 points, said Mona Hassan, chief technical analyst at MubasherTrade.

The main gauge currently moves between the support level of 5,500 points and the resistance level of 6,300 points, said Sameh Gharib, head of technical research, Roots Securities.

As for the small and mid-cap index EGX70, it is anticipated to move higher again where it targets the levels of 354 and 360 points, as long as it keeps its position above the resistance level of 345 points, according to the analyst.
