Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s agricultural exports have increased to about 4.9 million tonnes since the beginning of 2020, despite the economic disruption caused by the pandemic, the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, El-Sayed El-Qusair, revealed.
Citrus topped the country’s agricultural exports with 1.465 million tonnes, followed by potatoes and onion with nearly 679,610 and 421,150, respectively, El-Qusair said in a statement on Sunday.
Beet exports came in the fourth position with about 3444,970 tonnes, while grape exports registered around 139,590 tonnes.
