Egypt Today: Remittances from Egyptians working abroad reached a historic $30.2 billion during the first nine months of the current year, rising from $20.8 billion in the same period last year, reflecting an increase of $9.4 billion and a strong growth rate of 45.1 percent.
Monthly inflows also showed notable momentum. According to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), remittances in September 2025 climbed to $3.6 billion, compared to $2.7 billion in September 2024, marking annual growth of 30.9 percent.
Recently in November, the CBE announced that Egypt’s foreign exchange reserves rose to $50.071 billion at the end of October, compared to $49.533 billion at the end of September 2025, an increase of $538 million.
The country’s net international reserves also grew by zero-point-six percent, reaching $49.534 billion in September 2025, compared to $49.251 billion in August.
