Egypt presents EGP 150bn investments to UAE

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Egypt’s South Sinai governor presented an investment opportunities worth EGP 150 billion for the UAE side.

The investments cover various sectors including tourism, agriculture and industry in New Sharm Al Sheikh city and areas in South Sinai.

“The new investment opportunities will offer around 325,000 job opportunities by 2030, which are projected to reach 625,000 by 2025,” governor Khaled Fouda told Mubasher on Wednesday.

The governor said that it is unlikely for the investors to face any constraints regarding the lands licensing, inviting the UAE investors and companies to invest in the governorate, which has five airports, four ports and five natural reserves.

Fouda expected to finish building 22,000 new hotel rooms in Sharm Al Sheikh by 2017 to raise the current number to 84,000 rooms.
