Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Space Agency is planning to launch a new environmental monitoring nanosatellite in 2022 to measure climate change and its impact on concentrations of greenhouse gases.
In addition, the CS3 nanosat is also scheduled for launch in 2022 and it is intended for applications in agriculture, underground water exploration, and border surveillance system, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said in a statement on Tuesday.
In addition, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology agreed with the space agency to allocate EGP 4 million of its budget to contribute to the development of 35 educational satellites (CubeSats).
