Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevine Gamea, said that the total value of export subsidies disbursed during 2020 reached EGP 20 billion.
A total of 1,863 companies were allowed to settle overdue taxes against export subsidies with a total value of EGP 6.7 billion, Gamea said in a statement on Wednesday.
In addition, exporters received EGP 13 billion under the initiative of the immediate disbursement of export subsidies.
