Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is issuing treasury bills (T-bills) worth a total of EGP 18.5 billion over two tranches, according to official data.
The first auction stands at EGP 4 billion in value and holds a 91-day maturity period until 8 March 2022.
The second offering amounts to EGP 14.5 billion, carrying a tenor of 273 days until 6 September 2022.
Egypt’s last T-bills issues were on 2 December when the CBE offered EGP 18 billion worth of notes.
