Cairo – Mubasher: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said that Egypt needs EGP 3 trillion to EGP 4 trillion to solve the issue of slums, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.
During a telephone interview with El-Hekaya on Saturday, El-Sisi revealed that Alexandria alone requires about EGP 400 billion to solve the problem of construction violations in the governorate.
He blamed corruption for construction violations during the last years.
The president further added that the government is planning to develop 4,500 villages over the coming three years at a cost of EGP 500 billion.
