Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt will launch the second phase of the national project for establishing and operating 1,000 new language schools in partnership with the private sector on Sunday, 18 October.
Companies and alliances of investors will be invited to take part in this project which aims to reduce the number of students per classroom, the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Education said in a statement on Thursday.
The second phase of the project includes the establishment and operation of 98 schools covering all governorates, including new urban communities such as New Cairo, New Assiut, New Borg El-Arab, New Damitta and New Fayoum.
It is noteworthy to mention that the first phase included the construction of 54 schools in 16 governorates which will come into service starting from the academic year 2020/2021.
