Egypt keeps fuel prices on hold for three months

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Fuel Automatic Pricing Committee (FAPC) decided to maintain the prices of fuel unchanged for three months until the end of March.

The decision is aimed at keeping the prices stable in the local market amid the coronavirus crisis, according to a statement on Wednesday.

In October, the committee decided to keep the per-litre prices of 80-octane, 92-octane, and 95-octane gasoline at EGP 6.25, EGP 7.50, and EGP 8.50, respectively, for three months ending on 31 December 2020.
