Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has joined the World Bank’s infrastructure development programme which offered a total funding of $69 billion to 77 projects in 40 countries over the last four years, the Egyptian minister of investment and international cooperation Sahar Nasr said.
Such funding was used by public and private institutions to finance water, wastewater, energy, transportation, and telecommunication sectors, Nasr added in a statement on Sunday.
Joining such programme will help Egypt attract more investments into its infrastructure projects, she noted.
