Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, reviewed a report highlighting the efforts made to upgrade the testing and evaluation system through the establishment of evaluation centres as part of the digital transformation plan.
The automated testing system will be applied in two phases at all higher education institutions at a cost of EGP 4.5 billion with the aim of assessing students in a transparent and fair manner, Abdel Ghaffar said in a statement on Monday.
The first phase of the system is implemented in two years starting from fiscal year (FY) 2019/2020 at a cost of EGP 1.1 billion, while the second phase will be implemented in two years starting from FY21/22 at a cost of EGP 3.4 billion.
