Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government is implementing seven drinking water projects in Minya Governorate, Egypt's minister of housing, utilities, and urban communities, Assem El Gazzar, stated on Saturday.
The projects will cost EGP 1.299 billion and are expected to serve 375,000 people in Minya, El Gazzar revealed.
Moreover, a group of 28 sanitation projects are under construction in rural areas in the Upper Egypt governorate, which are expected to serve 477,000 people, head of the National Authority For Potable Water and Sewage, Ehab Khedr, said.
Khedr added that operational trials are conducted in five projects in rural areas, noting that these projects will serve 64,000 people.
