Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session with a positive performance after the EGX30 main index levelled up by 1.34% to 17,039.45 points.
Moreover, the EGX50 EWI increased by 1.25% to 2,905.76 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices ended the session higher by 1.19% at 2,981.09 points and by 1.20% at 4,462.94 points, respectively.
The trading value stood at EGP 1.72 billion after 406.13 million shares were exchanged during the session, whereas the market cap value reached EGP 1.08 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Arab and Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 31.23 million and EGP 20.45 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 51.69 million.
