Egypt ends Thursday’s trading session with collective gains

Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday’s trading session in the green zone after the EGX30 main index rose by 0.85% to 16,454.31 points.

In like manner, the EGX50 EWI increased by 1.39% to 2,868.32 points.

Both the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI ended the session higher by 1.32% at 3,060.55 points and by 1.26% at 4,493.59 points.

EGX's turnover amounted to EGP 1.66 billion through the exchange of 364.83 million shares, while the market cap value stood at EGP 1.06 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 186.41 million and EGP 36.12 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 222.53 million.
