Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading session in the red zone after the EGX30 main index retreated by 0.67% to 17,098.16 points.
The EGX50 EWI declined by 0.11% to 2,926.79 points.
Both EGX70 EWI and EGX100 EWI ended the trading session lower by 0.26% at 3,011.63 points and by 0.20% at 4,491.15 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover stood at EGP 1.89 billion after 475.37 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.08 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 126.55 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 92.01 million and EGP 34.53 million, respectively.
