Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt has allocated EGP 30.6 billion to investments in Giza as part of its 2020/2021 plan, up 29.6% from the 2019/2020 plan, the Egyptian Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Hala El-Saeed announced on Thursday.
The amount of investments directed to Giza represents 11.8% of the distributed public investments.
The country has directed investments of EGP 10.8 billion to Giza's housing sector, EGP 8.3 billion to the transport sector, EGP 3.3 billion to the higher education sector, and EGP 3.96 billion to the antiquities sector.
At the same time, around EGP 3.9 billion will be used in developing drinking water and sanitation services.
