Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Health denied news reports about sending two suspected cases of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) to Nagila Hospital in Marsa Matrouh to be quarantined.
The spokesman of the health ministry Khaled Megahed affirmed that these reports are completely incorrect, according to a statement on Sunday.
Egypt remains clear of coronavirus, Megahed stressed, noting that if any case is discovered, it will be announced and reported to the World Health Organization (WHO).
The ministry continues to take precautionary and preventive measurements against the new coronavirus at all airports and other ports of entry to the country.
