Egypt closes Thursday with positive performance

Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday's trading session with a collective rise after the EGX30 main index went up by 1.35% to 17,003.90 points.

Additionally, the EGX50 EWI jumped by 1.38% to 2,887.23 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session higher by 1.20% at 2,971.88 points and by 1.13% at 4,436.86 points, respectively.

The turnover reached EGP 1.42 billion after 387.96 million shares were exchanged during the session, whereas the market cap value reached EGP 1.07 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the foreign and Egyptian traders were net sellers with EGP 19.67 million and EGP 6.29 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 25.97 million.
