Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has purchased 180,000 tonnes of Russian wheat in an international tender.
The shipment will take place between 11 and 20 December, the authority said in a statement on Monday.
This deal comes as part of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade's strategy to maintain a strategic reserve of basic commodities.
