Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade said the construction of 18 logistics and commercial zones is currently underway with investments up to EGP 39.76 billion, Akhbar El-Yom reported.
These projects cover 14 governorates and provide about 250,000 direct and indirect job opportunities.
In 2022, two logistics zones were inaugurated in Gharbia and Beheira governorates, respectively at a cost of EGP 8 billion and EGP 3 billion, respectively.
The supply ministry further noted that a total of 5 chain stores are being established in Cairo, Giza, and Qalyubia governorates.
