Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has offered treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth a combined value of EGP 2.75 billion through two issues on 28 February, according to official data.
The first tranche amounted to EGP 2 billion, holding a three-year maturity period until 4 January 2025.
The second offering totalled EGP 750 million and will mature in seven years on 4 January 2029.
Egypt, through the CBE, had auctioned T-bonds worth EGP 3 billion over three issues on 21 February.
