Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is offering treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 2.75 billion through two tranches on 3 January, according to official data.
The first issue is valued at EGP 2 billion, holding a tenor of three years until 4 January 2025.
The second auction is worth EGP 750 million and carries a seven-year maturity until 4 January 2029.
It is worth noting that the CBE offered T-bonds worth EGP 8.5 billion over three issues on 27 December 2021
