Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, announced that Thursday, 6 January 2022, will be an official holiday on the occasion of the Coptic Christmas.
The holiday will be paid for all employees at ministries, government and public entities, as well as the public and public business companies in Egypt, according to a Cabinet statement on Sunday.
Thursday vacation comes instead of 7 January, which will be on Friday, the usual weekend in the country.
