Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has allocated a total value of EGP 20 billion for the first phase of Hayah Karima (A Decent Life) initiative, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Monday.
The first phase covers a total of 375 villages with 4.5 million beneficiaries, the Minister of Planning, Hala El-Saeed, said.
The initiative targets covering all villages in the country over the coming three years with a total number of beneficiaries amounting to 50 million people at a cost of EGP 500 billion.
