Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of Finance issued on Tuesday a decision to adjust the customs exchange rate for foreign currencies, except for the US dollar.
The new exchange rates are effective from 16 February to 28 February, according to a statement.
Last week, the ministry had reduced the exchange rate for the USD to EGP 16 from EGP 18.5.
The euro exchange rate was set at EGP 17, while the GBP/EGP exchange rate registered 19.9.
