Egypt Aluminum posts 43% lower net profits in Q1-25/26

Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt Aluminum recorded 43% lower net profits after tax valued at EGP 2.41 billion in the first quarter (Q1) of the fiscal year (FY) 2025/2026.

The generated profits were compared to EGP 4.23 billion in Q1-24/25, according to the financial statements.

Revenues amounted to EGP 11.32 billion in Q1-25/26, down 0.07% from EGP 11.33 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier.

Earnings per share (EPS) retreated to EGP 5.86 during the first three months of FY25/26 from EGP 10.26 in Q1- 24/25.

During FY24/25, the EGX-listed firm logged an annual rise of 9% in net profits to EGP 10.18 billion, compared with EGP 9.32 billion.
