Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Oil Minister Tarek El Mulla signed an agreement for oil and gas exploration in Gulf of Suez and Western Desert.
The agreement was signed with Tunisia’s HBS, at an investment of no less than $9 million.
The agreement reflects the confidence of the Tunisian oil firm in the strong potential in Egypt’s Western Desert area, said the ministry.
The minister also signed an agreement for extending a contract for awarding a crude field to Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) in West Gamasa in Gulf of Suez for ten years.
