Egypt Today: Egypt has agreed to activate the Qatari investment package through the signing of a major investment partnership agreement in the coming days, aimed at developing a strategic project in Samla and Alam El-Roum in Matrouh Governorate.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met with his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, to discuss advancing the implementation of the recommendations and outcomes of the sixth session of the Egyptian-Qatari Joint Higher Committee, which was held last August in New Alamein City.
Both leaders stressed the importance of moving forward with the memorandums of understanding signed during that session, in a manner that supports mutual interests and enhances bilateral cooperation.
The Qatari Prime Minister underscored the need to strengthen bilateral relations across various sectors and boost Qatari investments in Egypt’s key industries, while commending Egypt’s ongoing efforts on economic and developmental fronts. He also reaffirmed Qatar’s full support for Egypt’s pursuit of growth and stability.
