Riyadh — Mubasher: Edarat Communication and Information Technology Company recently signed a purchase order with Rackspace Arabia for Information Technology Single LLC to obtain managed VMware Cloud Service Provider (VCSP) services.
The contract was officially penned on 27 September 2026 and is valued at SAR 28.27 million, excluding value-added tax, according to a bourse filing.
Under the terms of the agreement, Rackspace will provide VMware cloud software licenses on a subscription basis along with related technical support for the company’s cloud computing services.
The contract spans a duration of 42 months, commencing on 1 October 2026 and concluding on 31 March 2030. Fees for the services are scheduled to be paid annually in advance.
Edarat stated that the financial impact of this transaction is expected to appear on its financial statements starting from the second quarter (Q2) of 2027 and will continue throughout the duration of the contract.
The listed company further confirmed there are no related parties involved in the agreement.
