ENOC launched 1st compact fuel station in Dubai

Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC Group) on Wednesday announced the beginning of pilot operation of its first compact fuel station in Dubai.

The new pilot station will offer customers accessible and convenient refueling services, according to the company’s statement.

Equipped with one above tank fuel dispenser and a vending machine, the station is designed to cater to residents living in residential communities.

The new station can be dismantled, relocated and re-installed at different locations without easy access to fuel in just 30 days.

“The growth in the number of UAE registered vehicles keeps pace alongside the growth in the country’s population. This is directly translated into greater demand for fuel stations in the years ahead,” Saif Humaid Al Falasi, CEO of ENOC, said.

ENOC’s station, with a capacity of 30,000 littres, will be located in the parking areas of urban locations, and it will be in Arabian Ranches to serve adjoining communities.

“The success of this pilot can largely benefit us as we ramp up our service offering and network reach ahead of the Expo, largely due to the mobility of this concept,” Al Falasi added.
