UAE - Mubasher: ENOC Group, a prominent integrated global energy player, wrapped up 2023 with 1,063 innovative ideas from its employees, of which 178 were put into action.
The innovative ideas proposed by the group’s employees led to AED 1.36 million in total savings during 2023, according to a press release.
Moreover, the creative contributions from employees over the years resulted in overall net financial gains amounting to AED 92.27 million.
In line with the UAE Innovation Month, ENOC reaffirmed its dedication to substantial investments in solutions aimed at enhancing operations and fostering innovation throughout the country.
UAE Innovation Month, observed every February, celebrates and encourages innovation nationwide, providing individuals and organizations with a platform to showcase their projects across various sectors in the country.
Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, said: “At ENOC Group, we believe in the importance of harnessing the power of innovation and launching initiatives that have been established to support the sustainable development of our country.”
“In the last two years, we registered an increase of 68% in innovative ideas submitted by the employees of ENOC Group. This reaffirms our commitment to providing employees with necessary tools to contribute to the development of the Group, the Emirate of Dubai and the wider UAE in the years ahead,” Al Falasi added.
As part of its commitment towards the community, ENOC, in partnership with Petrofac, launched a technical training programme in September 2023 to foster the skills and expertise of young Emirati nationals in ENOC's refinery operations.
In August, the group signed a strategic agreement with the Retired Military Personnel Association (RMPA) in Abu Dhabi to promote the UAE’s retail infrastructure.
