Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday's trading session on a varied note.
The main EGX30 index rose by 0.55% to end at 11,125 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 1.28% to 2,952 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI declined by 0.58% to 3,954 points and the EGX50 EWI retreated by 0.1% to 2,471 points.
The market cap value decreased by EGP 1.29 billion to close at EGP 732.749 billion.
Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 32.76 million and EGP 62.02 million, respectively, while local investors were net sellers with EGP 94.79 million.
The market's turnover reached EGP 2.29 billion after 747.53 million shares were exchanged through around 70,110 transactions.
