Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) declined at Monday’s open by 0.88% or 110 points to the level of 12,438.24 points.
Similarly, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices fell by 0.39%, 0.32%, and 0.84%, respectively.
Turnover amounted to EGP 125.8 million as 23 million shares were exchanged.
Global Telecom, down 6.13%, was the worst performing stock, Domty shrank by 4.8%, and Ezz Steel fell by 4.26%. CIB declined by 1.58% to EGP 74.89.
On the other hand, National Real Estate Bank for Development and Elsewedy Electric rose by 4.04% and 2.49%, respectively.
Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 7.5 million, while purchases by local and Arab investors reached EGP 1.7 million and EGP 5.7 million, respectively.
