Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading session in green territory on the back of Arab purchases.
The main EGX30 index rose by 0.58% to 11,278 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI increased by 0.47% to 2,189 points.
Likewise, the EGX100 EWI climbed by 0.43% to 3,182 points, whereas the EGX50 EWI edged up by 0.05% to 2,301 points.
The market cap value grew by EGP 2.16 billion to close at EGP 671.539 billion.
Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 86.98 million, while local and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 63.51 million and EGP 23.47 million, respectively.
The market’s turnover registered EGP 1.53 billion after 595.266 million shares were exchanged through around 48,320 transactions.
